The Linsly School to hold its Boys and Girls High School Varsity Soccer games at Highlands Sports Complex for the season.

[Wheeling, WV] September 2, 2021 – Acclaimed International boarding school, The Linsly School, has chosen Highlands Sports Complex to host its soccer games this fall.

From August 20 to mid/late October, The Linsly School Cadets varsity soccer teams, both boys and girls, are scheduled to play a total of 16 home games at Highlands Sports Complex (HSC) this fall.

The Linsly School is the oldest preparatory school in the west of the Alleghenies and is currently boarding students from six different states and 22 different countries. Their Upper School athletic program includes more than 20 interscholastic teams which compete in both the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference and the Interstate Prep School League. The school encourages every student to participate in athletics. They always follow the words of its founder- Noah Linsly- “Forward and no retreat”.

“Having Linsly’s home soccer games at Highland Sports is great. The complex is a top-notch facility that allows Linsly to showcase our soccer program at a location that is both accessible to our greater community as well as our visiting team”, says Chuck Neighoff, Linsly Head Coach for the girl’s soccer team.

Highlands Sports has just what the school needs to host The Cadets. HSC is equipped with two state-of-the-art full-size regulation indoor and outdoor turf soccer fields, new score board, and LED field lights. The complex’s many first-class amenities include a full-service café, Live Barn video streaming, and family entertainment center complete with a 4,000 square foot arcade and climbing walls.

Ricky Moore, Sports Director for Highlands Sport, is excited about this new partnership, “This will give The Cadets and other teams the chance to look at playing opponents that may not have been possible before, thanks to Highlands Sports’ proximity to Interstate 70. We are grateful to host their program and foster a new relationship with this venerable institution”.

Tickets for The Cadets soccer home games can be purchased on game days at Highlands Sports Complex.

HSC is also hosting a national wrestling tournament, The Battle in the Burgh, this month along with many other events. If you would like more information about hosting your events at Highlands Sports Complex please contact Jason Troop at jtroop@sportsfacilities.com or visit highlandssports.com
