Sports may be in our name, but Highlands Sports Complex was designed to host the best events of all kinds. Our affordable venue is a one-stop shop destination for events happening in the Ohio Valley.
The Ohio Valley’s need for space, accessibility, and customization is now available at HSC. Transforming a traditional place for sports into a premier event space is one of our specialties. We have the resources and capabilities to host all types of events, including but not limited to corporate events, executive meetings, trade shows, expos and more!
With over 200,000 square feet of space, our large venue offers the perfect place to host an event. Traditionally used for sports, the six basketball courts, full-size indoor turf, and full-size outdoor field can be used for non-traditional activities such as corporate events or exhibitions.
That’s not all. Our state-of-the-art facility includes an arcade, play climb area, a full-service kitchen, a second-floor mezzanine, and four meeting space areas equipped with tables, chairs, and technology. You get a full-service package when you host with HSC.
No event is too big or too small. You’ll work one-on-one with a member of our staff to customize a package that fits just right for your event. The HSC team coordinates, serves, and delivers everything for you. You won’t have to lift a finger.

Trade shows require a lot of space – and we have just that. There is no limit to our facility. The indoor turf alone is 88,000 square feet! If you’re still looking for more room, we can add on the fieldhouse, which is 44,000 square feet. You’ll have space for every vendor to show off their products and services.
One of the biggest benefits of hosting at HSC are the views. The open concept along our main hallway ensures that nobody will miss a second of your event. Our layout forces guests to pass by each stop when grabbing food or using the restroom.
Whether it’s a for a smaller executive meeting or a big corporate event, we have the amenities ready for you. There are four designated meeting spaces equipped with technology for the smaller to mid-size groups. For larger groups, we can transform the traditional basketball court(s) into a meeting room by sectioning off the area with our curtains, setting up chairs, and providing technology for speakers.
Your event is not limited to the space inside our facilities. We also have a long second floor mezzanine where you can house more vendors for your event. We will make sure all available space is maximized to its fullest potential.
The open concept for your convention may not be suitable for you. That’s why we can section off areas of the facility through our state-of-the-art curtains? We can take our open six basketball courts and section them off into six private enclosed areas. The same goes for the indoor turf – we can set up four enclosed areas for your convention. And don’t forget the four designated meeting space areas. That’s 14 individual areas to host the different parts of your convention.
